Can an English undergraduate class be cancelled?

Harbin requires at least twenty enrolled students for an English-taught undergraduate class to start. Classes below that threshold are cancelled. Confirm the cohort arrangements before making final travel or financial commitments.

What are the undergraduate English requirements?

Harbin publishes Academic IELTS above 6.0, with no component below 5.5, or TOEFL iBT above 80. Shenzhen lists IELTS at least 6.0, with no component below 5.5, TOEFL at least 80 or Duolingo at least 115. Prior English-medium evidence can be accepted under each campus’s rules.

Do undergraduates need CSCA and an entrance test?

CSCA subjects depend on the programme. Shenzhen also runs an online English entrance examination: Mathematics and Physics or Mathematics alone, matching the programme category. The final Shenzhen admission decision requires the CSCA result.

How do the tuition references compare?

The 2026 English tuition references are CNY 26,000 per year for Harbin undergraduate study and CNY 34,000 for Harbin master’s study. Shenzhen lists CNY 30,000 for undergraduate and CNY 35,000 for general master’s study. Shenzhen design master’s routes have separate CNY 60,000 or CNY 70,000 annual references; confirm the next-cycle rate.

Is Business Administration an MBA?

The Harbin international list names Business Administration as an academic master’s subject; Shenzhen names Business Administration as a Master of Science. These entries should not be assumed to be MBA programmes with the same work-experience or professional-award rules.

How long are computing master’s programmes?

Harbin’s current English list gives 2.5 years for Computer Science and Technology and Software Engineering. Shenzhen Computer Technology is a separate three-year Master of Electronic and Information Engineering route. Exact award and campus matter.

What distinguishes the design master’s routes?

Shenzhen Future Design School lists a two-year Master of Design and a three-year Master of Arts route. Applications need a 500–800-word statement and a portfolio of five to ten works in a PDF no larger than 20 MB. Their tuition and scholarship schedules differ from general Shenzhen master’s study.

Do master’s applicants need a supervisor acceptance letter?

Harbin encourages an acceptance letter but does not make it mandatory for the general international master’s application. Shenzhen’s general prospectus makes it mandatory for doctoral applicants. Follow any exact school assessment or additional-document request.

Are scholarships and housing automatic?

Scholarship awards and continuation depend on the campus rules and review. Shenzhen general entrance scholarships and design scholarships use different percentages. Shenzhen master’s accommodation is limited and first come, first served; receiving an offer does not guarantee a room.

Are the 2026 application dates still open?

The published 2026 deadlines have passed. Harbin’s reference deadlines were 15 July for undergraduate and 31 May for master’s entry; Shenzhen’s general deadline was 20 May, with a separate May window for design. Check the next entry-cycle notice before applying.
