About 15,020 students studied at the London campus in 2024/25 (10,465 undergraduate, 4,555 postgraduate), taught across three faculties: Arts and Creative Industries, Professional and Social Sciences, and Science and Technology. University-managed halls include Usher Hall, directly opposite the Hendon campus, at £245.28/week for ensuite rooms with shared kitchens; and Platt Hall (shared 6-person flats, £217.35-224.28/week) and Writtle House (single/double rooms, similar pricing), both in Colindale, about a 20-minute walk from campus and served by the Underground and the 125 bus. All quoted rates include bills and Wi-Fi. Students who prefer private renting in Hendon or nearby Colindale/Golders Green should budget separately, since private-market rents vary widely by room type and flatmates.

Hendon and neighbouring Colindale carry a wide mix of independent takeaways, halal butchers and halal restaurants within easy walking distance of campus and halls, including options directly on Church End Road and around Hendon Central. All first-year students take a timetabled personal-safety and community training session during Welcome Week. Halls of residence have 24-hour secured entrances.
