What English evidence is required?

English proficiency evidence is required for English or English/Chinese courses. The brochure gives priority for TOEFL 80 or 550 traditional, or IELTSAcademic 6.0, rather than establish a universal rejection minimum. Its TOEFL format wording needs confirmation; no automatic native/prior-English-school waiver is added.

The 2026 guide expressly says the bachelor CSCA score report is not compulsory. Applicants without it can provide the complete official high-school transcript in Chinese/English; under equal conditions CSCA submission gives priority. No other university’s mandatory subjects or paper language are imported.

What academic and age conditions apply?

Applicants must be foreign citizens, in good health, with no criminal record and excellent academic performance. Ordinary bachelors require high-school level or above; masters require a bachelor or equivalent. Age 18 or above is the general principle, with guardian-in-China documents separately specified for under 18 applicants.

What documents do masters need?

Provide the qualification and full transcript with notarial certificates, English evidence, a study proposal and two supervisor recommendations covering ability/performance and related qualities. The brochure gives no universal numeric plan length or professor-rank minimum. Family property, medical, police and passport records are also required.

What are tuition and application fees?

Published 2026 annual tuition is CNY 16000 for bachelors and CNY 22000 for masters, used here as past-cohort indicative figures pending confirmation. The non-refundable application fee is CNY 500 or USD 75 for each programme application. Housing, insurance and personal costs are separate.

How do scholarships and payment interact?

The 2026 brochure advertises first-school-year scholarships of CNY 20000 for bachelors and CNY 38000 for masters. It still requires tuition payment at registration, then tuition reimbursement before Novemberand the balance in ten monthly instalments after successful registration. Confirm the individual award and next-cohort rules; later years depend on comprehensive review.

What housing costs and refund conditions apply?

The 2026 Jiangpu four-bed rate is CNY 2000/person/year; its CNY 4000 twin option is doctoral-only. Dingjiaqiao twins are CNY 8000/person/year. Housing payment follows the pre-admission deadline and is described as non-refundable except visa refusal; actual allocation and new rates require confirmation.

What does the institution’s history and recognition mean?

The university’s charter establishes its 2001 merger and predecessor roots in 1902 and 1915. It is listed in China’s 2026 Mo Ehigher-education register. Regulatory listing does not itself prove a particular foreign professional licence, degree equivalence or registration entitlement.

Why are some source rows excluded?

Mixed English/Chinese master directions do not independently establish a full-English route. The English PDF incorrectly merges Biology/Medicine with daily living Science/Engineering; the parallel Chinese table separates them and labels Biology/Medicine bilingual. The five daily living Science English directions remain one separately proven parent.

How do I apply and verify admission?

Use the official university portal and retain your application number. The 2026 brochure says the university has not delegated document review or admission-letter issuance to another institution; admission confirmation comes through its official admissions channel. Students Traffic supports comparison and preparation, with official decisions kept by the university.
