Question 1

Which Presidency College is this?

Accepted Answer

This is Presidency College at 100 Kamarajar Salai, Chepauk, Chennai 600005, the Tamil Nadu government arts and science college affiliated to the University of Madras. The current official website is pcc.ac.in. The similarly named Bengaluru college and Kolkata university are separate institutions.

Question 2

Who can use these two programme entries?

What Class 12 subjects are required?

Accepted Answer

Question 4

What language and duration are recorded?

Accepted Answer

The current 2026 college course list explicitly labels both hearing-impaired routes English medium, Shift I. The college examination rules describe undergraduate study as three years and six semesters. English medium does not establish sign-language teaching, an interpreter service or individual support arrangements.

Question 5

What disability percentage is required?

Accepted Answer

The public named scheme does not specify a percentage threshold. Confirm the college’s current category assessment and required hearing-impairment certification before applying. No unverified percentage threshold or guarantee of admission is represented by these entries.

Question 6

What is the verified intake baseline?

Accepted Answer

The college homepage dates its 2026-27 student-induction entry 6 July 2026; its college-owned form names these two hearing-impaired UG degrees. Question 9

What does tuition cost?

Accepted Answer

A dated itemised annual tuition quote for these exact routes is not verified. The college’s fee table shows composite charges and a dash under tuition, which is not an explicit current zero-tuition guarantee. Ask for the applicable waiver and all compulsory academic, university, examination and living costs.

Question 10

Is overseas admission verified?

Accepted Answer

No. These entries cover the documented domestic hearing-impaired route. Exact foreign, NRI and OCI availability has not been established. Applicants using an overseas qualification or route should obtain an individual eligibility and admission assessment before relying on availability.

Question 11

Accepted Answer

Question 12

What recognition is independently supported?
