Campus life, Indian student community, food options, and day-to-day living at Slovak Medical University in Bratislava in Bratislava.
The English-medium General Medicine track admits a deliberately small cohort of just 15 students per cycle, with admission ranked strictly by entrance-exam score up to that capacity. The programme's conditions are formally re-approved each year by the Faculty's Programme Council and Quality Council.
The university's own 2026/27 admissions document states explicitly that Slovak Medical University does not provide accommodation for students in the English-language General Medicine programme; students on this track should budget for private rental housing in Bratislava. A separate general SMU accommodation page advertises a student dormitory with rates around EUR 135/bed/month during the academic year, but this may not extend to the English-track cohort given the programme-specific exclusion, so applicants should confirm directly with the university before relying on it.
Meals are available through the university's own cafeteria; no separate meal-plan cost is published.
No university-published campus-safety statistics were found. Admissions and student queries are handled through the Faculty's Pedagogical Department.
Admissions correspondence is handled by the Faculty's Pedagogical Department (Pedagogicky odbor), reachable by mail at the university's Limbova 12 address in Bratislava.
