The New College, Chennai: Hostel & Accommodation

The current prospectus describes hostel accommodation for boys enrolled in the college, with furnished rooms, prepared meals, purified water and a separate PG section. Students apply to the hostel office after college admission. Confirm vacancy, residence terms, deposits and the complete hostel and mess charge separately.

The hostel prospectus describes prepared meals and purified drinking water. Confirm current mess terms, meal timings, allergy needs and any individual dietary arrangements with the hostel before accepting accommodation; no particular menu or specialist dietary provision is verified here.

The Peters Road campus includes teaching departments, laboratories, a library, sports facilities and student-service activities. Aided and self-financed programmes are separate admission choices. These listings verify the male admission route. Selected PG and research programmes admit women; current undergraduate availability for women requires programme confirmation. Check the exact degree and stream before applying.

The college lists grievance, student-counselling and welfare mechanisms and publishes conduct and residence rules. Obtain the current reporting contacts, attendance requirements and hostel procedures when enrolling. These arrangements do not guarantee an individual safety outcome. Students can access academic departments, library services, counselling, student-service activities and scholarship information. The prospectus describes library orientation and learning resources. Confirm exact programme support, accessibility arrangements and financial-assistance conditions individually; admission does not establish an award entitlement.
