Thiagarajar College, Madurai: Hostel & Accommodation

College hostel accommodation is limited and requires a separate application to the Warden after academic admission. The prospectus states that the hostel office issues its own application form. Confirm availability, eligibility, room charges and mess arrangements before planning a move; academic selection does not reserve a room.

Confirm mess services, charges and support for allergies or medical diets directly before accepting accommodation. A particular meal plan or individual dietary arrangement has not been established for these entries. Budget for food separately unless the college supplies an inclusive quotation.

The college’s prospectus describes cultural, sports, academic and extension activities alongside its regular curriculum. Aided and self-financed programmes have separate admission choices and fee arrangements. Confirm the current timetable, activities and support available for the selected degree and stream.

The prospectus describes an anti-ragging committee, an Internal Complaints Committee and student-welfare contacts. Obtain their current details and the applicable reporting procedures when enrolling. Discuss individual travel, health and accessibility requirements directly; committee existence does not guarantee a personal safety outcome. The college describes library resources, academic departments, student activities, scholarships and support services. Confirm what applies to the selected programme and individual circumstances. Scholarship eligibility, documentary requirements, hostel availability and other benefits need separate checks; academic admission does not establish an entitlement.
