Campus life, Indian student community, food options, and day-to-day living at Tongji University in Shanghai.
Study is organised through the individual college. The university describes urban construction and disaster-prevention subjects around Siping Road and a manufacturing-related subject cluster at Jiading. Your admission arrangements identify the teaching campus; arrange housing and travel around that location.
Campus accommodation is limited. Full-scholarship students are normally assigned housing, but even scholarship recipients may need to arrange accommodation themselves if campus rooms are full. Follow the International Students Office accommodation notice and do not assume a room is guaranteed.
Daily living and housing plans depend on the assigned campus. Programme tuition excludes living costs, and an accommodation offer is separate from admission. Confirm kitchen access and any dietary needs for the actual residence before committing to it.
A recent medical examination and medical insurance form part of registration. Accepted students use their admission and visa documents to apply for entry and then complete the Shanghai residence-permit process. Bring original academic and language documents for checking.
The International Students Office coordinates recruitment, teaching management, visas, internships and international-student activities. Students Traffic can help compare the exact degree, campus, CSCA subjects or research documents and programme-specific budget.
