The city has a slower, warmer pace than northern Italy — many Indian students find the Mediterranean rhythm easier to adapt to.
Safety & student support
Messina is a calm, safe city with strong community orientation. Very few safety issues reported by international students. Internationalisation is a strategic priority for the University of Messina. The English-medium medicine program is supported by dedicated faculty and growing English-language support infrastructure.
