Zhejiang Gongshang University: FAQ

The source prints exact qualification forms, including Bachelor of Management, Bachelor of Economics, Bachelor of Law, Master of Engineering, Master of Economics and Master of Art. International Business UG and Business Administration PG use Management Science wording. That wording is preserved without inventing B.Sc., M.Sc., Honours or MBA abbreviations.

All supported English UG routes are four years. Computer Science and Technology master is three years; International Trade is two years. The other current English masters are 2.5 years. These are exact programme-table values, not minima chosen from a range.

Yes. Law’s English class requires a minimum of 20 students. Accounting does not open below 15. Finance says 10人以上开班, meaning a cohort of at least 10. Applicants should confirm class opening before making travel or financial commitments; these conditions are retained with the individual offering.

The central guide gives UG minimums IELTS 5.5, TOEFL 80 or Duolingo 90; PG minimums IELTS 6.0, TOEFL 80 or Duolingo 100. Native English status or accepted proof of previous English-medium study can apply under university review. TOEFL ITP scores are not accepted.

The 2026/27 undergraduate rule requires valid CSCA results in principle, and each supported English UG row specifies Mathematics. Do not infer test-paper language merely from the programme teaching language. The current master catalogue expressly says master applicants do not need CSCA.

No. The central graduation section requires Chinese proficiency at least Level 4 for foreign-language-taught UG degrees, generally an HSK 4 certificate. Postgraduate degrees require at least Level 3, generally HSK 3. These are graduation conditions rather than a blanket Chinese-language entry requirement for the supported English routes.

The central list includes degree/transcripts, accepted English evidence, CV, study plan or personal statement, two full/associate-professor references with signatures and contact details, and in principle a supervisor provisional-acceptance form. Published research is supplied if available. Confirm any exception to the supervisor-form requirement directly.

Current supported UG tuition is CNY 18,000/year. Master Computer Science and Technology is CNY 28,000/year; other supported English masters are CNY 25,000/year. Application CNY 400 is non-refundable; insurance is referenced at CNY 800/year. Books, housing and personal costs are additional. Later-intake charges require confirmation.

The central guide quotes double rooms CNY 650/person/month and quads CNY 300/person/month, subject to actual housing at registration. The reservation page lists category-specific facilities, deposits and separate water/electricity. Confirm the assigned room, campus, availability and period; do not turn a monthly rate into an invented annual guarantee.

The published regular 2026 window was March–15 June, with scholarship applications recommended before 1 May. Those dates are past. Registration was late August or early September as specified in the offer. Expected graduates must confirm final-degree timing: the Chinese guide says before the official admission notice, while English says before registration.

The College of International Education is the university’s international admission authority and issues formal admission notices. It reviews nationality under MOE No. 12 (2020), with extra documents for former-Chinese and relevant overseas-born Chinese-parent cases. The guide quotes broad nationality/residence wording; applicants should confirm applicability to their own case rather than rely on a blanket assumption.
