Clinical exposure
Clinical chairs of the Medical Institute are based across what the university describes as leading medical clinical centres, dental clinics, scientific research institutes and pharmaceutical enterprises in Yerevan, alongside the university's own base polyclinic, where clinical professional courses combine lectures, practical training and educational-production practice. The university does not publish a list of named external teaching hospitals; its own in-house clinical facilities are a dental clinic that now operates as a public-facing polyclinic and a Simulation Centre established in 2019 under the Erasmus+ SAFEMED+ grant, used for hands-on skills training ahead of clinical placements. The programme runs as a single continuous six-year cycle to the Physician (MD) qualification, with first-year placement determined by an interview covering English, Chemistry and Biology.
