Training & support

Practical training & industry exposure

The programme structure emphasises mathematical reasoning and theoretical foundations alongside subject-specific practical work. Undergraduates use computing facilities, while Physics students undertake laboratory experiments. BS students can pursue deeper electives and, where approved, a thesis. MSc Computer Science includes a second-year thesis, sometimes undertaken through an approved industry internship; MSc Data Science students have first-year summer internship opportunities described by the placement office. These academic components do not guarantee employment.
