How to apply for M.E./M.Tech Biomedical at Indian Institute of Technology Madras — step-by-step process, documents required, and application timeline.
M.Tech. Biomedical Engineering is a two-year residential engineering master’s at IIT Madras. Core and elective courses are combined with project work in the named discipline. Programme-specific qualifying subjects and GATE papers apply.
Confirm the exact degree-and-GATE combination, register separately with COAP, then submit the IIT Madras programme application. COAP is an offer-acceptance portal, not the application.
Upload academic records, scorecard and relevant certificates; applicants using the IIT graduate exemption follow the department’s review route.
Review the COAP/institutional offer and complete admission payment, original-document verification and the cohort’s joining requirements.
