Training & support
Practical training & industry exposure
Practical training is built around named industry relationships rather than generic placement support. LPU lists tie-ups used in engineering teaching with Google, Microsoft, Dell EMC, Bosch, Cisco, VMware and Pega, and runs B.Tech. (CSE) specialisations designed with named partners including Quantiphi and Futurense. The National Board of Accreditation lists four B.Tech. programmes - Computer Science and Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Mechanical Engineering - on its Tier I register, which is the Washington Accord tier, to 30 June 2027, and the MBA on its Management PG register to the same date. The School of Agriculture holds ICAR accreditation from the National Agricultural Education Accreditation Board for its B.Sc. (Hons.) and eight M.Sc. awards, so agriculture teaching is assessed against the national agricultural-education standard rather than a general technical one. Academic collaborations with universities including UCLA, the University of British Columbia, Seoul National University, the University of Bristol and the University of Leeds support 2+2 international credit-transfer versions of several B.Tech., BBA and B.Design awards, which are admitted under separate programme codes. Hospitality and design programmes are taught with studio and operational components rather than lecture-only delivery.
