Eligibility Criteria

Programme, campus and scholarship conditions apply separately.

Non-Chinese citizens in good health and good standing need a qualification equivalent to a Chinese bachelor’s degree or higher. Ordinary age normally≤35 in Chinese versus under 35 in English; confirm the boundary.
Ordinary English: TOEFL iBT 90 or IELTS 6.0, or verified English-taught bachelor/master qualification. Scholarship language conditions are separate; no automatic native-English waiver is established.
Since 2022, English-programme degree completion requires HSK 3; CAU provides Chinese courses. No numerical HSK passing score is printed here.
Two signed associate-professor-or-higher references and official undergraduate-onward transcripts. Ordinary plan: English guide 1000 words versus Chinese 1000 characters; confirm format. CSC plan:1000 words.
Passport must expire later than December 2027. Submit notarised highest qualification or expected-graduation/student-status proof, study/work history, medical and police records; visa information if in China.
CSC 2027 additionally requires no failed courses and GPA above 3.0; TOEFL iBT 90 or IELTS 6.5 or prior English qualifications. Do not apply these extra CSC thresholds to ordinary admission.
For CSC, complete the college interview/exam first; CAU then issues a pre-admission notice for later CSC upload. It is not required at the initial application stage.
The college reviews academic background and may require further examination or interview. Confirm programme-specific subject preparation, supervisor allocation and exact teaching/research location.
Open to: International applicants satisfying the exact CAU programme and admission-scheme conditions
Current 2027 international programme, nominal 3 years. English option advertised alongside Chinese; confirm the individual English study plan. Exact formal qualification and campus allocation require college confirmation. Also included in the separate 2027 CSC 1028 directory; scheme-specific conditions apply.
Qualification: Master level; exact native subject retained without a foreign named-award equivalence
Admission, scholarship, supervisor and campus arrangements require the responsible university authority’s approval.
