Question 1

Is CAU recognised?

Accepted Answer

China Agricultural University is listed by the Ministry of Education in its 2026 higher education register, code 4111010019, under the Ministry of Education in Beijing. Its history begins in 1905. Institutional listing does not automatically establish a foreign professional licence or a specific qualification equivalence; check the exact programme award for your intended use.

Question 2

Which language applies?

Accepted Answer

The current 2027 directory explicitly advertises English master programmes and subjects with English/Chinese options. The supported option is English, with the individual college study plan requiring confirmation where both languages are advertised. Required Chinese study and HSK 3 graduation apply; current programme rows take precedence over an older broad English-course list.

Question 3

How long are the programmes?

Accepted Answer

The current catalogue prints exact master durations of two or three years for the individual subjects. A generic 2–3-year guide range is not used to select an arbitrary value. Separately named admission subjects remain separate offerings, while internal research themes are not extra degrees.

Question 4

Who can apply?

Accepted Answer

Master applicants need a qualification equivalent to a Chinese university bachelor’s degree or higher, non-Chinese citizenship, health and good standing. Ordinary Chinese wording says age normally not above 35, while English says under 35; confirm the boundary. College-specific academic assessment and, for Sanya MBA, experience/selection requirements should be checked rather than guessed.

Question 5

What English proof is accepted?

Accepted Answer

Ordinary 2027 entry accepts TOEFL iBT 90 or IELTS 6.0, with the Chinese guide and English document list also providing an English-taught bachelor/master qualification-proof route. CSC 2027 instead uses IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL 90 or prior English qualifications. An automatic native-English waiver is not established here; submit the relevant proof and confirm acceptance.

Question 6

Is Chinese required for graduation?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The current guide explicitly says English-programme degree completion has required HSK 3 since 2022 and that Chinese courses are supplied during study. It does not print a numerical score here, so 180 is not inferred. Plan the language study and ask the college what evidence and deadline apply to the individual degree.

Question 7

How do I apply?

Accepted Answer

Use CAU’s official application system, choose the exact programme and pay CNY 400 non-refundable. Submit notarised qualification, sealed full transcripts, two signed associate-professor-or-higher recommendations, study/work history, language proof, study/research plan, passport and medical/police records. Colleges review the material and may require further exam or interview; follow their official notices.

Question 8

What are the current dates?

Accepted Answer

Ordinary/self-funded 2027 applications are advertised for November 2026–June 2027; confirm the exact closing day. CSC High Level Postgraduate runs 1 November 2026–28 February 2027. Other schemes have separate notices. Registration is in autumn by the individual Admission Notice, with no exact programme start month established here.

Question 9

Which extra CSC conditions apply?

Accepted Answer

CSC 2027 requires no failed courses and GPA above 3.0, along with its higher IELTS condition or the stated alternatives. Apply to both CAU and CSC, Type B/agency 10019, and upload the signed CSC form. A pre-admission notice is issued after the college interview/exam and uploaded later; it is not required at the initial step. Final selection remains with CSC.

Question 10

What does CSC funding cover?

Accepted Answer

For selected recipients, the 2027 scheme covers tuition, campus double-room accommodation, living allowance and insurance; international travel is self-funded. Recipients undergo annual evaluation and cannot change host, major, field or duration without giving up the scholarship. The current scheme list omits Resource Utilisation/Plant Protection master, even though that subject is in the ordinary directory.

Question 11

How should I budget?

Accepted Answer

The central 2027 guide publishes master tuition CNY 26000/year, application 400 non-refundable, insurance 800/year and double-room housing 1000–1600/month. Exact invoices, accommodation and personal spending need confirmation; Sanya MBA has no verified local invoice here, so central references are not presented as its confirmed programme-specific price.

Question 12

How is the Sanya MBA different?

Accepted Answer

Its current international catalogue explicitly says all student cultivation takes place in Sanya,Hainan, with a two-year MBA. It is separate from the neutral Business Administration subject elsewhere in the catalogue. Confirm local teaching/housing, fees and any experience/selection conditions; no Beijing semester or dual award is inferred.

Question 13

How can Students Traffic help?

Accepted Answer

Students Traffic can help compare the verified subjects and campuses, organise records, plan Chinese study and distinguish ordinary admission from scholarship requirements. Apply through CAU’s official process. Admission, funding, visa, supervisor and degree decisions remain with the responsible institutions; no existing university representative status is asserted.
