Campus life, Indian student community, food options, and day-to-day living at Gulf Medical University in Ajman.
Students train on GMU's dedicated 25-acre Thumbay Medicity campus in Ajman, alongside GMU-owned teaching hospitals and clinics, with gender-segregated on-campus hostel accommodation available a short distance from campus.
On-campus hostel accommodation is available in the nearby Al Jurf area in gender-segregated buildings, with single, double and triple-occupancy furnished options (bed, wardrobe, fridge, study table, washing machine), laundry, gym, Wi-Fi, university transport during campus hours and 24/7 security. A refundable AED 1,000 security deposit applies; the university's own marketing page cites on-campus housing starting around AED 19,000 per year as an approximate entry price, though the exact current annual fee is published only in a downloadable flyer that could not be independently confirmed.
Campus dining options are available through the Thumbay Medicity complex; no separate university-run meal-plan cost is published.
On-campus hostel accommodation includes 24/7 warden and security coverage. No broader university-published campus-safety statistics were found during research.
International applicants apply online, are guided through document evaluation and equivalency requirements, and are supported through GMU's admissions office; the university also hosts its own on-campus IELTS test center.
