Hainan University: Hostel & Accommodation

Accommodation charges and room arrangements vary by campus. HAIC’s 2026 reference schedule describes four-person rooms at CNY 1,450 per academic year; this is not a university-wide room guarantee or a confirmed international allocation. Obtain the assigned campus, available room type, final tariff and utility arrangements before booking travel.

The general fee guidance estimates meals at about CNY 1,500 per month for planning only. Actual spending depends on individual choices and location. Confirm specific dietary needs, food availability and any kitchen access at the assigned campus; no specialised-meal guarantee is established.

Programme location matters here. Agronomy is at Danzhou; Business Economics and the HNU–ASU joint routes are at Guanlanhu. Most listed science and law masters are at Haidian, while Biomedical Engineering is at Yazhou. Crop Science can involve Danzhou or Yazhou according to school, and Food Processing/Safety and Food Science/Engineering use the Guanlanhu campus’s Chengxi teaching site. Confirm the assigned school, teaching site and accommodation before arranging travel.

Applications require a complete health examination and police certificate, normally valid for six months. Comprehensive insurance is charged at CNY 800 per year or CNY 400 per semester. Confirm examination, insurance and registration instructions directly before arrival. The International Students Office handles international admissions, residence-related procedures, scholarships and student administration. Students Traffic can help compare public programme details and prepare questions about campus, fees and eligibility. Applicants submit through the official university process.
