Madras Christian College: Hostel & Accommodation

The college operates separate residential halls for men and women. College admission does not guarantee a hall place. Applicants must enrol and pay the course fee before applying separately through the halls process; confirm allocation, room arrangements, charges and meal terms with the college.

Hall accommodation and meal arrangements require separate confirmation. Applicants should ask the selected hall about vegetarian or non-vegetarian choices, allergies, medical diets and meal availability before accepting accommodation or paying associated charges.

The East Tambaram campus combines academic departments, laboratories, a library, sports and student associations with residential halls. Aided and self-financed programmes have distinct schedules and administration. College attendance, conduct and assessment rules apply to academic participation and student activities.

The college lists an infirmary, counselling service, anti-ragging committee, Internal Complaints Committee and anti-alcohol/drug-abuse framework. These provide institutional support and complaint routes. Students should obtain the current contact details and follow campus conduct and emergency instructions. The college provides academic departments, a library, psychological counselling, Dean of Students Affairs and Dean of Women Students services, support for differently abled students, and student grievance channels. Applicants should discuss individual accessibility and support needs with the relevant office before enrolment.
