Is an architecture aptitude test required?

Yes. An eligible NATA or JEE Paper 2 architecture result is required in addition to the academic qualification. TNEA’s counselling process combines academic and aptitude performance for its ranking.

How does the domestic counselling route work?

Applicants use the TNEA B.Arch registration and certificate-verification process before ranking and seat choices. This route has its own nativity, schooling and category rules; an eligible test score alone does not guarantee a seat.

Can all overseas applicants use this route?

No. The verified TNEA B.Arch route permits specified Tamil Nadu-native OCI/PIO and Sri Lankan Tamil refugee categories under exact conditions. The OCI/PIO exception excludes those born abroad after 4 March 2021. A general foreign/NRI route is not established.

Is a current tuition amount available?

Annual tuition is on request. The payment route requires the amount assigned to the applicant. Compare course charges separately from studio materials, accommodation and daily living rather than treating them as one confirmed package.

What facilities support architectural study?

The academy identifies design studios, a model-making workshop, materials and surveying resources, a climatology laboratory, computer facilities and a library. Digital tools include AutoCAD, Revit and Rhino.

Does the academy have a campus logistics?

Its provisional 2026–27 affiliation disclosure records an owned boys’ campus logistics inside campus. Current room rates and availability are not established, and women’s housing needs a separate arrangement review.

What help is available with student concerns?

The grievance helpdesk covers academic, administrative and infrastructure matters as well as harassment or ragging reports. Students Traffic can help organize an application shortlist and practical study plan.
