Campus life, Indian student community, food options, and day-to-day living at MEASI Academy of Architecture in Chennai.
The academy occupies the MEASI/New College campus setting on Peters Road. Teaching spaces include design studios, lecture rooms, a model-making workshop, a materials museum and computer facilities. Library resources and the auditorium support study beyond the design studio.
The 2026–27 provisional affiliation disclosure records an owned boys’ hostel inside the campus, with kitchen, dining and warden facilities. Current room availability and pricing are not established. Women’s accommodation is not confirmed in that disclosure and needs a separate housing plan.
The affiliation disclosure records a canteen and hostel kitchen/dining provision. It does not establish menus, special-diet arrangements or a current meal charge; food preferences belong in the accommodation and living-cost plan.
The academy maintains an anti-ragging committee, squad and flying squad. A grievance helpdesk accepts reports covering harassment, ragging and other concerns; the existence of these channels is not a personal-safety guarantee.
The grievance helpdesk handles academic, examination, administrative, fee and infrastructure concerns from students and other campus stakeholders. Students Traffic can help compare the architecture entry route, aptitude-test evidence and housing plan before an application.
