Hostel facilities, Indian food availability, campus safety, and accommodation options at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
Hostel arrangements and costs vary by room type and academic year. Confirm current availability and fees directly with Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics before making any payments.
Accommodation overview
The 2026 guides list annual room charges by size and occupancy: small and large single rooms at CNY 8,000 and CNY 14,000, and small and large double rooms at CNY 4,000 and CNY 7,000. These are published averages subject to change, separate from tuition and the CNY 400 yearly residence-permit figure. The price list does not guarantee a particular room, campus or allocation. Confirm availability, payment timing, contract length and any utility charges for the actual offer. Scholarship coverage also varies; a tuition-only award should not be treated as funding for housing or daily living.
Food & daily living
The verified admission guides and tariff table do not establish halal certification, a vegetarian meal plan or allergen controls for the admitted campus. Tell the international office about exact dietary requirements and ask about current dining and permitted self-catering before accepting housing. Confirm kitchen and appliance rules in the allocated residence. Meals are separate from the quoted tuition and accommodation, so keep a personal food budget.

Campus & lifestyle
NUAA’s international catalogue spans aerospace, automation, electronic information, materials, civil aviation, computing and management schools. The same master subject can appear in several colleges, so the school and intended supervisor matter when comparing routes. The international college’s published admissions address is Jiangjun Road 29 in Nanjing; that address does not establish the teaching location for every cohort. Confirm the campus and any planned moves in the admission notice before arranging a room or commute.
Safety & student support
The guides require physical-examination and non-criminal-record documents; the master guide specifies examination and criminal-record documents issued within six months, including the blood-test report. Under-18 UG applicants need a guardian with Nanjing residency. These are admission checks, not a campus safety rating. Follow the current offer and university arrival instructions for insurance and registration. The College of International Education manages the published international application route. Current UG enquiries go to zhahong@nuaa.edu.cn; the 2026 PG guide uses postgraduate_admission@nuaa.edu.cn. Submit clear scans through the application portal and bring originals for verification. Student organisations operate under college guidance and registration rules. Ask the office to resolve source conflicts before paying.
