Question 1

Is Ningbo University the same as Nottingham Ningbo?

Accepted Answer

No. Ningbo University is the public university founded in 1986, with main-campus address 818 Fenghua Road and institution code 4133011646 in the 2026 Ministry of Education list. University of Nottingham Ningbo China is a separate institution.

Question 2

Which English bachelor choices are verified here?

Accepted Answer

Business Administration, International Economy and Trade, Primary Education, English, Financial Engineering, Logistics Management (International Shipping), Musical Education, Architecture, and Mechanical Design/Manufacturing/Automation. Architecture is five years; the other eight are four. The separate six-year MBBS row is held for unresolved clinical and internship phases.

Question 3

Which master choices are available in English?

Accepted Answer

The current guide lists MBA, Law, Education, Psychology, English Language and Literature, Design, Port and Shipping Technology and Management Engineering, daily living Science and Engineering, Communication and Information System, Biology, Human Movement Science, Pharmacy and Aquaculture. MBA is 2.5 years; the other twelve are three.

Question 4

Will I study at the main campus or Meishan?

Accepted Answer

The current guide explicitly assigns the Maritime and Transportation, Marine Sciences, and daily living Science and Engineering faculties to Meishan. This includes the shipping-logistics bachelor and relevant port, daily living, biology and aquaculture masters. Other students should confirm classroom and residence allocation with their faculty.

Question 5

What bachelor entrance tests are required?

Accepted Answer

All international bachelor applicants need a valid CSCA transcript. The verified routes list Mathematics; Architecture and Mechanical Design/Manufacturing/Automation also list Physics. Confirm test-paper language and assessment with NBU. No minimum CSCA score is invented.

Question 6

What English score do I need?

Accepted Answer

For English undergraduate routes, non-native English speakers provide a result such as TOEFL, IELTS or another accepted test; the current guide gives no numeric minimum. The master guide directs applicants to programme language requirements without publishing numeric scores. Obtain the current faculty standard rather than borrowing another programme’s threshold.

Question 7

What are the academic and age requirements?

Accepted Answer

Bachelor applicants must be under 25 and have a high-school qualification. Master applicants hold a bachelor degree and are normally under 35; age flexibility is discretionary for healthy applicants with work experience and high academic ability. Under-18 bachelor applicants need a mainland-China adult guardian guarantee.

Question 8

What documents should I prepare?

Accepted Answer

Prepare the appropriate qualification and transcript, passport, photo, non-criminal record, health examination and applicable nationality or previous-China-study evidence. Bachelor applicants also need CSCA and relevant English evidence; masters need two recommendation letters. Documents in other languages require notarised Chinese or English translations.

Question 9

When and how should I apply?

Accepted Answer

Use the official International College website to reach the university application system. The reviewed guides are for 2026 and do not establish a future deadline or exact next start date. International College and the faculty review applications, and some programmes may require an interview. Follow the admission notice for registration.

Question 10

How much is tuition?

Accepted Answer

Indicative 2026 annual quotations vary by programme: verified bachelors CNY 20000–24000; masters generally CNY 25000–30000, with MBA CNY 51200 annually. These are annual past-cohort references, not whole-degree totals or future invoices. The non-refundable application fee is CNY 500, with housing and other costs separate.

Question 11

What other costs and housing limits should I plan for?

Accepted Answer

The 2026 guide quotes insurance CNY 1200 per academic year, medical examination CNY 500, residence permit CNY 800 per year and approximate daily living cost CNY 1500 per month. Dormitory rates differ by building and campus; bedding and utilities are excluded. Limited rooms require advance application, and all next-entry charges need confirmation.

Question 12

Are scholarships and professional licences guaranteed?

Accepted Answer

No. The guide describes several scholarship schemes with different levels and conditions; Type B Chinese Government Scholarship is a graduate scheme, not an automatic undergraduate entitlement. A degree in education, human movement or pharmacy does not itself establish teaching, clinical, physiotherapy or pharmacist registration in any country.

Question 13

How can Students Traffic help me prepare?

Accepted Answer

Students Traffic can help compare exact English subjects, confirm campus questions, organise qualification and CSCA documents and plan costs. Use NBU’s official process for submission and university decisions. No admission, scholarship, visa, housing or professional practice outcome is guaranteed.
