Campus life, Indian student community, food options, and day-to-day living at Palacky University Olomouc in Olomouc.
The Faculty admits roughly 80 students per intake to the English-medium General Medicine programme. University housing is guaranteed for all international students for their entire period of study, and the Faculty campus sits alongside University Hospital Olomouc, with most clinical departments a short walk from the lecture halls.
University housing is guaranteed for international students throughout their studies, administered by the university's Accommodation and Dining Services across several halls of residence, some with shared bathrooms and some with communal kitchens. Official nightly rates translate to roughly EUR 175-215 per month for a single room and EUR 135-165 per month for a twin room, though applicants should confirm exact current rates in euros at the time of booking. Housing is not available for students with families, and international/exchange students' accommodation is generally booked automatically by the university based on their programme.
No specific on-campus meal plan or dining-cost figure is published. Food costs should be planned as part of an independent living-cost budget alongside accommodation.
No university-published campus-safety statistics were found. Olomouc's municipal waste-collection fee is waived for students under 26 living in the halls of residence.
The Faculty's Admissions office coordinates application and entrance-exam logistics, including partner-run exam sessions in multiple countries.
