Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering: Hostel & Accommodation

The college provides separate men’s and women’s hostels. The 2026 prospectus describes accommodation capacity above 1,350 and a dining hall serving vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. The first-year DOTE fee sheet lists hostel charges separately from tuition; confirm room allocation, what the quoted charge includes and any additional living costs.

The 2026 prospectus says the hostel dining hall serves vegetarian and non-vegetarian food, and the campus has a canteen offering food and beverages. Individual allergy requirements, special diets, meal plans and included mess costs need confirmation before choosing accommodation.

The Pennalur campus combines academic departments, laboratories and a central library with sports and student clubs. The college lists technical associations, a theatre group, Music Club, Tamil Mandram, Rotaract and an Eco Club. Optional undergraduate Honours/Minor study is part of the curriculum rather than a separate first-entry degree.

The college describes a campus medical centre, fitness facilities and a round-the-clock ambulance. Its official site provides anti-ragging information, an Internal Complaints Committee and women’s helpline links. These services do not establish an individual safety or medical outcome. The central library supports online catalogue access and inter-library loans. Department associations, student clubs and the Industry–Institute Interaction Cells support academic and co-curricular participation. The college provides admissions coordinators and counselling contacts for route-specific application questions.
