Ss. Cyril and Methodius University's Faculty of Medicine in Skopje is North Macedonia's oldest and largest medical faculty, founded in 1947. Its General Medicine programme runs a genuine parallel English-medium track alongside Macedonian instruction, is listed in the WHO World Directory of Medical Schools, and has been ECFMG-certification eligible for graduates since 1953, with clinical training embedded in the University Clinical Center Skopje.
The Faculty sits on UKIM's Medical Sciences campus in Skopje, one of four campuses across the university's 23 faculties and over 30,000 students. Facilities include a dedicated Faculty library, a Student Polyclinic for mandatory freshman health screening, and access to the Faculty of Philology's one-year Macedonian and English preparatory language programme for enrolled foreign nationals.

No dormitory fee specific to Faculty of Medicine or foreign medical students is published. The university's own International Students Guide instead gives general cost ranges: hostels from EUR 7-15 per night, private rental studios EUR 80-120 per month, and larger flats EUR 130-200 per month, with utilities an additional EUR 50-150 per month not included in rent.

Student canteens operate at each UKIM faculty and are open to foreign citizens, but no specific daily food-cost figure is published for Faculty of Medicine students. Living costs beyond rent and tuition should be planned as a separate budget line.
No dedicated campus safety statement or crime statistics are published on official UKIM or Faculty sources. International applicants should note that an unofficial, lookalike website circulates for this university and rely only on the official medf.ukim.edu.mk and ukim.edu.mk domains.
A named foreign-student coordinator at UKIM's Rectorate handles international-student matters, alongside the Faculty of Philology's one-year Macedonian and English preparatory language programme (60 ECTS) for enrolled foreign nationals and mandatory freshman health screening at the Student Polyclinic.

If you are planning MBBS admission in Russia, the real decision is not whether admission is possible. It is whether you are choosing the right university, preparing the right documents, and entering on a pathway that still makes sense for India-return goals later.
If you are comparing Russia seriously, the duration question is really about structure, internship, and planning. The useful answer is not a brochure number. It is understanding how the six-year pathway works and what that means for your long-term medical journey.
If your first question is cost, Russia belongs on the shortlist. But the smartest budget decision is not the cheapest seat on paper. It is the cheapest Russia option that still makes sense for the student's full six-year journey.
The best Russia shortlist is not a generic top-10 table. It is a fit-based decision across brand, public-university value, city comfort, cost, and long-term pathway sense. This page is built to help families shortlist wisely, not just scroll names.
