Campus life, Indian student community, food options, and day-to-day living at TU Dresden in Dresden.
The Faculty of Computer Science is based on TU Dresden’s main campus. The degree’s third semester is deliberately structured so students can use it for a temporary stay at another university; this is an option, not an included exchange entitlement.
TU Dresden directs students to Studentenwerk Dresden for housing. Its international factsheet gives an indicative EUR 230–500 monthly accommodation range and notes kitchen facilities in student residences; the actual room, wait time and contract are determined by the housing provider.
The university’s current semester contribution funds student-services and student-body provision, but it is not a meal plan. TU Dresden publishes no single compulsory food budget for this master’s programme, so food should be planned separately from the EUR 361 semester fee.
TU Dresden’s international FAQ gives practical enrollment guidance, including health-insurance formalities and any missing documents named in an admission letter. It does not publish campus-specific safety statistics, so this page does not make a comparative safety claim.
International applicants with a foreign higher-education entrance qualification are directed through TU Dresden’s online application route, commonly to uni-assist; all applicants also submit a separate aptitude-assessment application. ServiceCenterStudies is the first contact point for Admissions and International Office matters.
