Campus life, Indian student community, food options, and day-to-day living at University of Pretoria in Pretoria.
MBChB is offered by the School of Medicine in the Faculty of Health Sciences. The 2026 programme record describes an integrated, outcomes-based and problem-oriented course. The Faculty yearbook includes clinical training and student-intern rotations as part of the curriculum; no individual rotation site or timetable is promised in this package.
UP’s Residence Affairs and Accommodation service, TuksRes, publishes its 2026 residence guide and manages on-campus residential information. Accommodation availability, room allocation and residence charges are separate from the MBChB estimated tuition figures.
UP Student Health Services publishes dietary consultations for registered students. The service does not make a Medicine-specific meal-plan or food-cost commitment, so food and personal living expenses are not presented as part of programme tuition.
The University’s Student Affairs structure includes counselling, health and disability units, and its student-support pages publish crisis and careline contacts. The reviewed materials do not publish Medicine-specific incident statistics or guarantee a particular safety outcome.
UP Student Affairs lists counselling, health, disability, development and governance support. Student Health Services provides primary healthcare across campuses; its published services include medical advice, referrals, dietary advice and confidential HIV counselling. Access conditions and any third-party costs remain service-specific.
