Frenchay Campus has an on-site village store and food outlets; Bristol's supermarkets and diverse restaurants, including South Asian and halal options in areas like Stapleton Road and Easton, are reachable by bus or the MetroBus link from Frenchay into central Bristol.

UWE directs students to its international-study pages, Students' Union welfare services and UK government visa/safety guidance before arrival. Frenchay Campus accommodation includes on-site community and tenancy support; international applicants should also check current Home Office visa and right-to-study rules ahead of their intended start year. International applicants use UWE's international-study pages for country-specific guidance, English-language pathways through Kaplan's UWE Bristol International College, and pre-sessional English courses for those below the required IELTS band. Applications for taught courses go through UCAS (undergraduate) or UWE's online postgraduate application system; accommodation is booked through the University's own portal after an offer is confirmed.
