Accommodation overview
The official 2026 brochure quotes twin-room campus accommodation at CNY 450 per person per month, paid by semester or year, excluding electricity. It describes a bathroom, furniture, air conditioning, fridge and network facilities, plus public kitchen and laundry provision. The central fee page also lists CNY 2700 per semester/CNY 5400 per academic year for a twin room. Campus residence is expected when available; off-campus housing needs IEC approval and police registration within 24 hours. Confirm the residence, availability, invoice and bedding; no room guarantee is inferred.
Food & daily living
The university describes campus food services and shared kitchens in the international accommodation material. Specific halal certification, vegetarian separation, allergen controls and cooking access at an individual assigned residence are not established by the reviewed admission brochure. Discuss ingredients and cross-contact with dining staff and confirm current kitchen rules at your campus before relying on a meal arrangement.

Campus & lifestyle
ZSTU’s international pages distinguish Qiantang and Linping study locations. Current computing, mechanical, biotechnology and trade bachelor guides identify Qiantang; several master guides also identify Qiantang. Fashion-related routes and faculty allocation need individual confirmation, and the central admission-office address does not establish every classroom. Degree study in English still includes Chinese-language progression, with HSK 4 required for bachelor graduation and HSK 3 for masters. International students join course study, faculty projects and campus activities under university rules.
Safety & student support
Follow official visa, health, insurance and registration instructions. Applications require a complete recent physical-examination record and health/conduct review. Confirm campus emergency and medical contacts before arrival. The official platform has hospital and psychological-support sections; no personal safety guarantee is asserted. The international college routes self-funded/other scholarship enquiries to admission2@zstu.edu.cn and Chinese Government Scholarship applications to admission@zstu.edu.cn; phone+8657186843679. Students Traffic supports comparisons and document/cost checklists. Official admission, scholarship, visa and degree decisions remain with the university and responsible authorities.
