Which English programmes are included?

The shortlist covers six current bachelor routes and eleven consolidated master parents. Only independently marked English options/directions are included; Chinese-only routes and doctoral study remain outside this shortlist.

How long are the programmes?

The 2026 brochure gives four-year bachelors except Architecture, which is not an English choice here, and three-year masters. A plan’s approved flexible study window does not create a separate degree or automatic accelerated route.

What English evidence can I use?

The official pages accept specified alternatives: English mother tongue or official language, English-medium previous schooling, TOEFL 80+, TOEFL Essentials B 2+, IELTS 5.5+, or other English evidence accepted by ZSTU. Some programmes can require more.

Is Chinese required for English study?

English bachelor graduation requires HSK 4 or above; English master graduation requires HSK 3 or above. Confirm the current curriculum and assessment. English entry-language evidence is separate from graduation Chinese.

Current undergraduate admission requires CSCA. Mathematics is mandatory for the six English routes. English study exempts Professional Chinese, not Mathematics. The 2026 brochure requires results before 31 May 2026; confirm the next cycle.

What are the age and qualification rules?

The bachelor page normally asks high-school graduation and age under 30, allowing minors with prescribed guardian documents. Masters require a bachelor degree and normally age under 35, with discretionary relaxation for healthy experienced academically strong applicants.

Do masters need a supervisor?

The master application page requires a ZSTU supervisor acceptance letter and two recommendations from professors or associate professors. Select an English-capable direction and confirm background, supervision and current programme availability.

Are research directions extra degrees?

No. Computing, biology, chemistry, textiles and other masters contain multiple research directions under their parent. Academic Power Engineering/Thermophysics and professional Energy/Power remain separately labelled programmes.

What tuition should I budget?

The official 2026 annual categories are CNY 15000 liberal-arts bachelor,18000 science/engineering bachelor,22000 art bachelor and 25000 master, plus 300 application/registration. These are indicative past-cohort categories; obtain the current programme invoice.

What housing costs are published?

Are scholarships guaranteed?

No. The brochure lists government, provincial and university scholarship schemes with separate eligibility and review. The 2026 CSCA subsidy concerns one exam fee for admitted and registered undergraduate freshmen with the required receipt, not repeated tests.
