Hostel facilities, Indian food availability, campus safety, and accommodation options at Zhejiang University.
Hostel arrangements and costs vary by room type and academic year. Confirm current availability and fees directly with Zhejiang University before making any payments.
Accommodation overview
Accommodation arrangements depend on the campus and programme. ZJU-ISM collects admitted students’ housing preferences and allocates rooms. Its 2026 academic master’s freshman scholarship includes first-year accommodation for selected recipients. Haining applicants should follow International Campus residential-college procedures; confirm room type, charges and availability in the offer.
Food & daily living
Yiwu campus lists Chinese dining, a café and a bakery. Haining and other campuses have their own dining arrangements. Confirm menus and any dietary requirements with the relevant campus before arrival, and budget food and personal costs separately from tuition.
Campus & lifestyle
The university has several campuses and school communities. Haining International Campus brings together joint institutes, a residential-college environment and international business programmes. The International School of Medicine has a separate campus in Yiwu. Confirm the teaching and housing location for the exact programme.
Safety & student support
International students must purchase comprehensive medical insurance in mainland China for semester registration. The Yiwu campus service directory includes campus security, maintenance and lost-property services. Insurance, visa and residence formalities are part of enrolment planning; programme admission does not replace these requirements. International admissions offices and the individual schools provide application, offer and registration guidance. Haining International Campus and the International School of Medicine have separate contacts for their students. Students Traffic can help compare exact requirements, identify campus differences and organise an application plan.
