B.Des programmes build through workshops in wood, metal, plastics and digital fabrication toward an industry internship and a bachelor's thesis; B.Arch students complete a semester-long internship in an architecture office and a final-year thesis; the MBA uses live industry projects, consulting assignments and start-up incubation. WUD reports MoUs for reciprocal exchange with institutions including the University of Huddersfield, Oxford Brookes University, Emily Carr University of Art and Design, Vancouver Film School, ENSAIT in France, HAMK in Finland and Universidad de Monterrey, with more than twenty students having taken semester exchanges. It led the Erasmus+ DESINNO capacity-building project with Brunel University, Politecnico di Milano and the University of the Aegean, and is a member of the Cumulus association of art and design schools. The Career Services Office offers international students portfolio reviews and internship placement support in India.
