Where is Crescent located?

The main campus is at Seethakathi Estate, GST Road, Vandalur, Chennai 600048. The separate Madurai campus is exclusively for women and has its own programme list and admission process.

Is Crescent a deemed-to-be university?

UGC’s university register lists Crescent with notification dated 16 December 2008. Programme-specific permissions from AICTE, COA, PCI and BCI have separate scopes.

Which programmes have NBA accreditation?

NBA’s register confirms undergraduate Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Information Technology through 31 December 2028. This accreditation does not extend automatically to other programmes or specialisations.

What is the teaching language?

The programmes listed here use English for teaching and assessment under their applicable regulations. Islamic Studies has separate language and cohort arrangements and remains outside this admissions scope.

What marks are needed for B.Tech. admission?

The 2026 domestic route requires 50% in the specified higher-secondary subjects, regular formal schooling and the stated birth-date range. Selection combines CIEAT 2026 and school marks; candidates with a valid JEE Main score use the listed direct-selection route.

Are overseas applicants assessed separately?

Separate men’s and women’s campus logistics provide Wi-Fi, study and recreation spaces, gyms, laundry and RO water. Messes offer vegetarian and non-vegetarian daily living, with halal-certified provision listed by the campus logistics.

What medical support is on campus?

The 24-hour health centre has two resident doctors, paramedical staff, eight inpatient beds and an ambulance. A specialist visits the campus logistics weekly; AG Hospital in Tambaram is the emergency referral partner.
