The residential campus brings academic buildings, laboratories, hostels and common facilities together. Engineering programmes combine classroom foundations with design and practical work. Hostel common rooms, indoor games and student activities support life outside scheduled classes.
The institute requires residential study unless it grants an exemption. Separate boys’ and girls’ hostels provide basic furniture, internet, washing machines, water coolers, hot water and RO drinking water. Rooms have cots, chairs, study tables and storage. Hostel and mess charges are billed separately from tuition, and dining advances can change with the catering tender.

The communal mess provides breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner, with a separate vegetarian-only floor described by the hostel office. Student representatives help communicate meal preferences. Applicants with allergies, medical diets or religious food requirements should confirm the current catering arrangements before joining.
Hostel blocks have round-the-clock security and a warden/caretaker structure. Campus medical services include a health centre and ambulance support, with specialist or emergency cases referred to nearby hospitals. Students should follow the institute’s medical and emergency instructions.
Faculty advisers support academic planning, while the Student Guidance and Counselling Cell accepts academic and personal concerns. Students can approach the listed faculty committee or the Dean of Academic Affairs in an urgent situation. Hostel wardens and the hostel office handle residential matters.
