The 2026 guide advertises Xianlin international apartments: undergraduates CNY 1500/year, four per room; postgraduates CNY 4000/year, two per room. These past-cycle prices need confirmation. Rooms are allocated and private swaps/subletting are prohibited; approved room-change applications are time-limited. International students normally live on campus. Off-campus residence requires prior college approval and local accommodation registration within 24 hours after moving. Confirm the current contract before payment: the admission guide states all fees are non-refundable, while apartment rules separately calculate early-departure accommodation by schooling period.
Apartment rules prohibit electric stoves, heaters, rice cookers and other high-power appliances inside rooms. Do not budget on unrestricted in-room cooking. Internet and telephone charges are students’ responsibility. A verified current halal, Indian-menu or allergy-handling arrangement has not been established; confirm dietary needs before accepting housing.
The apartment rules prohibit fires, dangerous materials and unauthorised overnight guests. Access after 23:30 requires notifying the administrator when returning late. Off-campus residents need approval and registration within 24 hours. Keep originals and the individual Admission Notice ready for registration; missing documents or late arrival can cancel enrolment.
The College of Overseas Education handles international admission and student administration. Faculty schools conduct video interviews, and new postgraduates must complete supervisor selection by 1 September under the 2026 guide. Students Traffic can help compare scheme conditions, organise records and identify questions for official confirmation before payment.
