Accommodation overview
RCSI's own Halls of Residence, about a 3-minute walk from campus, offers gender-matched 2-bedroom apartments (2 students sharing) at a combined BD 550/month per apartment (ensuite room BD 295, standard room BD 255), inclusive of wifi, electricity, water, 24-hour security and weekly housekeeping. The 10-month lease (September-June) is paid annually in advance plus a refundable security deposit, and is guaranteed only for a student's first year in Bahrain; a non-vetted off-campus private-accommodation list is also provided, with studios and apartments in the surrounding Busaiteen area typically running BD 280-450/month.
Food & daily living
No specific on-campus meal plan or dining-cost figure is published. Food costs should be planned as part of an independent living-cost budget alongside accommodation.
Campus & lifestyle
RCSI Bahrain marked its 20th anniversary in 2024, having graduated its first cohort in 2010. Teaching follows RCSI's Case-Based Learning model in small groups of around 12 students, structured around three pillars -- Knowledge, Skills, and Personal and Professional Identity -- with four cross-year learning communities and a personal tutor system throughout the programme.
Safety & student support
The Halls of Residence include 24-hour security as a listed amenity. No wider university-published campus-safety statistics were found; international applicants can direct queries to Student Services. Every student is assigned a personal tutor, and the curriculum is organized around four cross-year learning communities for peer-based case, clinical and lab practice. Student Services (studentservices@rcsi.com) supports incoming students with accommodation and settling-in queries, and the Admissions Office (futurestudents@rcsi-mub.com) handles application queries.
