The 2026 annual dormitory reference is CNY 6,000 for a double room and CNY 3,000 for a four-bed room. These are historical room-category charges, separate from tuition. Confirm the assigned campus, room availability and current charge before committing to accommodation.
Match meal planning to the assigned campus. If you need a specific diet or cooking facilities, resolve those arrangements before accepting a room; individual dietary needs may affect the choice of accommodation and meal plan.
The 2026 budget includes medical insurance at CNY 1,000 per year, separate from tuition. Keep your insurance and admission documents accessible on arrival. China’s emergency numbers are 110 for police, 119 for fire and 120 for urgent medical assistance.
The School of International Education coordinates international admissions. UESTC’s application process separates initial review from academic review and final confirmation. Students Traffic can help compare the English route, academic evidence and next-intake budget before submission.
